Victoria Station Escalator Works
| Ahead of major refurbishment work at Victoria Underground station, passengers are being asked to find other routes during the evening rush hour. As part of the work, three escalators which run from the ticket hall to the Victoria line platforms will be taken out of service one at a time. This is crucial to modernise this busy station and cope with increasing numbers of passengers, which are expected to rise from 80 million a year to 100 million by 2016.
