How long have you worked at UK Tickets? I have worked at UK Tickets (West End Theatre Bookings) for almost four years now. What is your role? My role as Head of Marketing is to manage our portfolio of websites, our online and offline marketing, new business development and industry relationships. I am supported by my wonderful team and some great clients and suppliers – it’s all in the marketing darling! What experience do you bring to the UK Tickets team? I have a background in European property – finding the right house is much like finding the right theatre ticket - when you get value for money you are incredibly smug and sometimes it is worth spending that bit extra. Do you have a top ticket buying tip to share? Best Available seats are a way to secure great seats at a great price – much like the ‘Secret Hotel model’ it is not something to be worried about as you can always call our team to put your mind at rest. What is your favourite musical or play? Chicago is my old favourite – Razzle Dazzle! Is there a show you would like to see return to the West End? Spamalot was a fantastic show – bring it back to London. What is your most memorable theatre experience? When I went to see ‘Into the Hoods’ Duncan James was a few rows away from me, he was so loud that he was asked to leave. No one is above the power of a theatre usher! Who are your top actors or actresses? I am a big Amanda Holden fan |
