Follow up to my post regarding tickets for Phantom in Manchester
As mentioned in a previous post, I was unhappy to learn that my tickets for Phantom in Manchester for this coming April were not being poated out to me until a week before the show even though they had been paid for over a week before my e-mail. I did speak to a genteleman called Paul (a customer services supervisor) about this matter and he was very apologetic about my disgust about this delayed service. He promised to get on to the booking office in Manchester and arrange for my tickets to be forwarded to me straight away. He telephoned me back to say that he had done this and I was to expect my tickets posted direct from the booking office the Thursday of this week (yesterday). Sure enough my tickets did arrive! So a very big thank you to Paul, a very helpful and pleasant man who did what he promised to do. Well done Paul. So all customers who have worries about the late arrival of tickets, I suggest you contact Customer Service by telephone and ask to speak to a supervisor. Hopefully you will get Paul and he will resolve all for you!Posted on Friday 20th January 2012 12:39PM by | Post reply

Charged twice for tickets to the Jersey Boys
I tried to book four tickets to the Jersey Boys on the 10th January, but the internet connection broke in the middle of the transaction and when checking on my account nothing had gone through. So on January the 11th we tried to book again, this time it went through and we got tickets etc for the matinee performance on the 17th Jan. However I have today got my credit card statement and I have been charged twice!! please let me know what I need to do to get a refund! query regarding my tickets for Phantom
On Sunday I booked two tickets under reference 1498992 for Phantom on 24th April. I have not received the tickets, so my husband phoned to see where they were. He was told that you do not post out tickets until one week before the show. This is ludicrous. I booked two tickets on the same day I booked Phantom with ATG for Hair and received the tickets the next day through the post. One week delivery before Phantom is not acceptable and if, by some quirk of fate, we are unable to go, we are left with no time to sell the tickets on the Internet or indeed to friends. Your method of sending out tickets this late is not acceptable and no other company I have ever dealt with has ever acted this way, the tickets always come up to a week after the booking regardless of when the show is. Please respond with a positive answer.Posted on Friday 13th January 2012 3:00PM by | Post reply

£5 16-25 tickets
Hi everyone (again!) My friend and I (both 16) are thinking of going to see Matilda in London in September, for a Saturday matinee. We would love to get 2 of the 8 £5 tickets the theatre reserves for 16-25 year olds they sell from 10am on the day of the performance at the box office. Could anyone tell me what time we should go to queue for these and what are the chances of actually getting them? Thanks so much! Mark :)Relates to: Matilda The Musical

Tickets paid for but not received
Hi, I bought 2 tickets for Wicked on 23/8/11 for the show on Sat eve 5/11/11. They never arrived in the post and I have been advised to phone and arrange collection from the box office before the show. This will not be convenient as we are travelling to London just before the show and have dinner plans prior to the start. For this reason and also because I wish to present them to my 10 yr old daughter as a birthday present before our trip to London,I would prefer the tickets be resent. I have tried unsuccessfully to contact someone on the customer service phone number, but was on hold for over 10minutes each time.I am becoming concerned about receiving the tickets for what is planned to be a special treat for my daughter. Thanks in anticipation of your help.Posted on Wednesday 12th October 2011 12:23PM by | Post reply

I bought tickets to a show recently, but as they are a surprise present for my missus, I 'put them somewhere safe' where she wouldn't find them. please recommend ideal seat location for children
Hi, I am planning to take two 7 year olds to see the Wizard of Oz. But am on restricted budget (thinking about top price tickets but horrified by the cost!). Can someone advise me how low I could go in cost and still have a good view? Neither children have seen a west end show, it will be a special treat so don't want them to be right at the back/top of a huge theatre unable to see well or stuck behind someone tall! I have also heard that there is a problem with visibility anyway at the front of the stalls for this show - so where are the best seats?Relates to: The Wizard of Oz

'Best Seats Available'???
I have booked a reduced 'Top Price Stalls/Royal Circle Best Seat Available' ticket for myself to see POTO on the 29th. On the e-mail I received it said: 'At present, we are unable to tell you your seat numbers when booking tickets. However, seats are allocated by a third party, the theatre does not allocate the seats but will be the best available from our allocation at the time of booking' Does this mean I will not know my seat until the day of the performance? Also, does the 'best seat available' ticket include seats with restricted views as well?Posted on Monday 21st March 2011 1:48PM by miichan138 | Post reply

I have just booked to go see Priscilla Queen of the Desert on Wednesday 9th March, thats only a few days away. The thing is, after I confirmed it, the page said that my tickets would be dispatched in the post in the next 48 hours. However, I'm going to London on Monday and won't be at home to receive them. When I've booked before I could pick tickets up from the theatre. was told on booking my tickets that my view would be slightly restricted. But sure reviews said these were suppose to be very good seats. I'm sitting in Row A 21 & 22 in the Royal Circle. Phantom booking
Yesterday I booked tickets over the phone for Phantom 7.30pm show, 15/05/10. As a first time theatre-goer this was my first attempt at booking. The operator was undeniably friendly. I was told there were stalls seats available and the cost, and that they would be R22/23. I asked if they were restricted and I was told that they were not. Thinking it was all sorted I went ahead. However when I got home and checked my emails and saw the booking confirmation- seats R22/23 are actually restricted after all. I replied to the email yesterday evening and I'd just like to confirm someone will look into this for me? At no point were alternative tickets offered. I am 100% certain that I was told these tickets were unrestricted views. And I am now more than a little confused!Posted on Thursday 6th May 2010 11:27AM by wanderer | Post reply

Ticket layout
It's the first time I have used this ticket agency for theatre tickets. I was wondering, from people who have used this company before or staff, is the price on the ticket the face value price or the retailed price which UKTickets sell them for. Also, are you able to choose the option of collecting your tickets from the box office or do you have to get them sent to your address? Best Available
I ordered two tickets for We WIll Rock You, for the 'Best Available' seats. I checked at the time and there were seats in the middle rows of the Stalls. On booking, I was told that I would receive an email shortly with the details of the allocated seats. The tickets have just arrived by post (for Thursday) and the allocated seats are in the back row of the Circle - there couldn't be worse seats. There are still seats available in Row G of the Circle. There are no details of how 'Best Available' works on the site, even in the small print of the T&Cs.Posted on Sunday 19th July 2009 5:53PM by | Post reply

Best seats
I booked Lion King tickets from the "best available seats" in stall - this is the highest price. I was informed, that my seats are S39-42. I asked to exchnage the tickets from the agent Tanya Martinez - 2 mails were sent (please see the quotes below). I really expect that my request may be fulfilled. Mail#2 - no reply was received :(. Seats E3-E7 are still available for booking via the site. From my point of view "best available" does not fit to suggested seats S38-42: they are very far from the stage and not on the central. Seats E3-E7 seam really better, since are very close to the stage. I really asked to check again the possibility to exchange between seats in the row S and in the row E, which I mentioned in this mail. Such exchange looks like a technical issue, but from my point of view I will get really the best available tickets. I also am sure, that the satisfaction of the customers will add more credit to the reputation of your site. Reply to mail#1 from Tanya: We are unable to exchange your tickets now as they have been booked. Mail#1 The row S is far enough from the stage. It is hard to see as "the best available seats" , but this is for sure the highest price ïŒ. Upon my attempts to book the tickets it was a moment, when the seats E2-6 were available. Unfortunately, I did not managed to sign these seats in my order form. Is it possible to order that seats?Posted on Tuesday 30th June 2009 8:19PM by | Post reply

best seats
Hi. I had tickets & hotel & train booked to see Michael Jackson at the O2 on at the end of july as a present for my daughter. As I have already got the hotel & train booked I have decided to see Thriller. I have booked the tickets & opted for the "best available" tickets. I have now received an email saying the tickets are in the stall... P10/11. I would have thought the balcony or circle would qualify for "best available" rather than the stalls??? I have never been to this theatre so can anyone tell me how good these seats are please? ThanksPosted on Tuesday 30th June 2009 6:13PM by sam57 | Post reply
