Is the girl from Hollyoaks still playing Maria ? I hear she is related to a famous actress but can't remember who - can you help ?

Summer Strallen is still playing Maria and, as far as we know, she will remain in the role until February 2009. Summer does not perform on Monday evenings or Wednesday matinees and the role of Maria will be taken by an understudy for these performances. Summer's mother is actress Cherida Langford, sister of Bonnie Langford. Summer is also the sister of Scarlett Strallen, who played the title role in Mary Poppins at the Prince Edward theatre in 2005.
