It is true, the animals come down the aisles towards the stage at the beginning of the show.

Are you saying that there are live animals in the theatre; I don't believe that for a second, think of the mess not the mention the cruelty!

No, there are no real animals. The Lion King incorporates spectacular costume and numerous methods of traditional puppetry.
