please recommend ideal seat location for children
Hi,
I am planning to take two 7 year olds to see the Wizard of Oz. But am on restricted budget (thinking about top price tickets but horrified by the cost!). Can someone advise me how low I could go in cost and still have a good view? Neither children have seen a west end show, it will be a special treat so don't want them to be right at the back/top of a huge theatre unable to see well or stuck behind someone tall! I have also heard that there is a problem with visibility anyway at the front of the stalls for this show - so where are the best seats?

Hello there, If you are looking for good seats I usually recommend seats in the Royal Circle as they are tiered so the children have a better chance of seeing the show. Obviously there is no way to guarantee that there wont be someone tall in front of your seats although I would still go for the Royal Circle for the kids. Although, most of the Royal Circle seats ARE top price, in which case I would go for the Grand Circle towards the front. These will be cheaper as they are higher up but if you get towards the front you won't be as far away from the stage and would still get a clear view. If you have any other questions please call our sales team on 0871 789 1055. Many thanks!

Hi..if you are prepared to wait until August you could wait for tickets to be allocated for Kidsweek ( actually it is more like kidsmonth !) during this promotion you can book one free child ticket for each adult ticket so you would be able to afford the dearer seats! Just google Kidsweek 2011 and you will have all the info you need. Having seen the show from premium stalls ( never ever again...you cant see the yellow brick rd...the ruby slippers etc) I am going again with my 8 year old but sitting in Royal Circle. Wherever you sit, make sure you get there early to get a booster seat or take your own just to make sure. There is a great site called Theatremonkey that will give you true feedback on certain seats to make your choice easier. Hope that helps
