Dirty Dancing has posted closing notices at the Aldwych Theatre. The popular show, which opened more than four years ago in October 2006 and became the longest running show in the history of the venue, has revealed performances will cease after 09 July 2011 before embarking on a National Tour.

Dancing champion Charlie Bruce has hot-footed it into the leading role of Frances 'Baby' Houseman in Dirty Dancing at the Aldwych Theatre this week. Bruce, the winner of BBC's So You Think You Can Dance,&nbsp; has been playing the character of 'Gina' in the show since the summer and understudying Hannah Vassallo in the coveted 'Baby' role; which she will play from 20 - 24 December 2010.
