Simon Callow will bring his latest one-man show, Being Shakespeare, to the West End this summer for a strictly limited run at the Trafalgar Studios. Promising to delve into the man behind the legend, Being Shakespeare sees Callow bring to life several of Shakespeare’s unforgettable characters as he searches for true nature of the playwright who became known as the Bard of Avon. The production has been created by Callow and Shakespearean scholar and biographer Jonathan Bate. The show is directed by Tom Cairns (Old Vic and National Theatre) and promises to be one of the great solo theatrical events of the year.
