Mix with the rich, the famous and the infamous at Madame Tussauds, one of London's oldest and most popular tourist attractions. Currently located in Marylebone Road, Marie Tussaud's travelling wax exhibition first arrived in London in 1802, displayed in a number of locations, including the Lyceum theatre and at Tussaud's own home in Baker Street. Since the early days, Madame Tussauds has become a worldwide phenomenon with branches in New York, Washington DC, Las Vegas, Berlin, Shanghai, Hollywood, Amsterdam and Hong Kong, each one boasting an expert team of wax sculptors and stylists.
The original London branch of Madame Tussauds features figures of such famous names as Posh and Becks, Brad and Angelina, Muhammad Ali, Madonna, the Royal family and newcomers Barack Obama and Amy Winehouse. Customers may also check out the Star Dome (formerly the London Planetarium) and can also buy tickets to enter the terrifying Scream, the 21st Century's answer to Marie Tussaud's original Chamber of Horrors.
