The multi-award winning comedian Ross Noble returns to London with his one man show Things, after his massively successful 2008/2009 tour. Things, performed at the Apollo theatre, will be Noble’s second West End run after Unrealtime at the Garrick in 2003. Noble’s surreal musings have become a staple at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for nine years, and he has had enormous success with his numerous UK and Australian tours.
Known for his surrealist style with talk of monkeys and badgers, Ross Noble's improvisation and encouraged audience participation have earned him an extensive and ardent following. Noble’s new show draws much from his equally surreal life, such as his new role as a father, losing his Australian farm in the recent bushfires and his treatment from a fanatical paramedic after a motorbike accident. Noble’s shows are also noted for their elaborately bizarre sets which in the past have included an enchanted forest, elves and carriages. For Things, Noble is joined onstage by a giant inflatable representation of himself, with wings, tentacles, dinosaur feet, four heads and a turtle’s body.
