Zach Braff’s Winter of Discontent

All New People is a brand new comedy written by and starring Zach Braff. The show premiered off-Broadway in July 2011 with The Hangover star Justin Bartha playing the lead role of malcontent Charlie, the role now taken by Braff in the West End. The play is set in the dead of winter on Long Beach Island, a popular summer vacation getaway in New Jersey. Charlie, a 35 year-old with a broken heart, just wants some time away from the world. A deserted beach house seems to be the perfect escape until his solitude is interrupted by a motley parade of misfits. They include a hired beauty, a fireman and an eccentric British real estate agent trying to remain in the country; all of whom turn Charlie’s mood as foul as the weather.
