Cannot recommend this highly enough, what fantastic music, effects and marvellous young talent.

I loved the kid who played Billy, he was so talented with his dancing abilities and brought a tear to my eye at several moments in this production which his amazing talent. We sat at the back of the dress circle which was a brilliant view with great leg room. I particularly loved the song which he sung with his mother in mind, I haven’t cried so much at anything since The Phantom of the Opera. Would definitely go and see this again.

This is the second time I've been to see this show (the first being just 5 weeks earlier). I've seen quite a few shows on the west end but this has shot up to being my favourite!

A lot of the songs aren't the best I've heard (good, but not great), but what makes them so brilliant is the fantastic harmonies (especially during the miners songs), and the delivery & emotion attached to them - All of which left me shaking, with every hair stood up on end. I'm a male & I'm not afraid to admit that I had a tear in my eyes. Amazing. Now, looking to book my third time... ha!

Tickets purchased for friends Christmas present. They very much enjoyed the show and theatre especially the actor who played the part of Billy Elliot.Top rate show

This show is WONDERFUL. If you saw it when it first came out then go again - I saw it four years ago and it's much much better now. The boy playing Billy was phenomenal.

I absolutely love this show. Its one of my favourites and the rawness and honesty gets to me every time. The combination of comedy, pain, truth and poignancy grips me and I always shed tears even though I know when the sad bits are coming

The show was excellent! I would definatly go again although I would choose different seats. We sat in grand circle row E 22-25 and it was quite high up but an alright view. I have seen it before and sat in the stalls and it is definatly worth paying that bit extra for stalls seats.

people complain about the bad language in the show, but if it wazsnt used then the show wouldn't be so good. In the time of the miners strike, bad language would have been used alot, so I think that it gives the show a better setting and gives you the experience of what things and life would be like back then. the tallent and comedy the show produces is amazing, the children are fantastic. the show is funny, lively, and brings a tear to some peoples eyeswhen they see it. ITS AMAZING. the tallent is so good that you forget about the bad language, I have seen this show 12 tmes in london, 7 with my 3 kids ( all under 12 ) and thay have had no effect and have been sensible enough to ignore the language and enjoy the show. the bad language should not stop you from seeing this truly magnificent musical.

One of my favourtie shows, dancing and story superb. The cast are brilliant and make the characters believeable and the show engages you from start to end.

It is a really nice show with a great story. The boy playing Billy is great and there is some excellent dancing...

I loved this show. The boy who played Billy was amazing, he danced thorughout the whole entire show and took the audiences breath away.

Billy Elliot is hard hitting, poignant, dramatic, hilarious and completely engaging. It looks incredible too, with clever sets and dazzling choreography. The excellent cast means every aspect is executed perfectly, and it doesn't fail to make me cry. Brilliant.

Absolutely stunning musical but heartrending and emotional too, with solid story well performed. Acting was fabulous, dancing sensational, but singing not perfect! Didn't matter though and the boy that played Billy was fabulous.

Great feel good show. Sang all the way home.

The whole show was enjoyable from beginning to end. It had comical moments and yet some hard hitting emotional scenes. The way the set was designed and moved was excellent, with constant changes and surprises. The songs added to the already wonderful story, but were not every two seconds so we got some good acting and dialogue in.Original songs you won’t know before you go. The theatre curves nicely so being on the end of the row in the Dress Circle was not a problem.

best show i have seen in years - kid was great

americans will find the accents very tough.they will miss quite a lot.they may also be a little upset at how the brits now view maggie and blair.the musical was more political than i expected.the audience loved it and as an irishman living in the us i also loved it.

HI WE REALY ENJOYIED THIS SHOW BUT THERE IS ALOT OF BAD LANGUAGE

The whole show was very entertaining, great dancing, fantastic acting and some very amusing bits in the performance.

I took my 15 yr old son. We thought the show was fantastic. One of the best west end productions we'd seen and we've seen quite a few. It ticked all the boxes for all emotions. We left feeling great and hope to see the show again taking more friends.

Great dancing! It was funny and very enjoyable. Quite a lot of swearing but this just added to the show and humour.

We all loved it, the balance between sad real, gritty true Northern story and uplifting dance and happy ending was perfect.

The actors/dancers were all great and they really involved you in the story and you believed the hardships they were going through.

I would say it's worth looking at the glossary before hand if you're not British cause the language can be difficult to understand with the northern accent.

This is the best show I have seen I love it, I took my daughters and they were blown away. It is uterly exhausting watching those talented kids and Billy is astounding. An absolute must see!

Great all round show - language quite strong so not suitable for children

Billy Elliot was just brilliant. It was funny, sad and quite intense in places. The only critism is I felt cheated at the ending as in the film that is one of the most moving moments. But that apart it was just the best.

The Show was fantastic..the best show ever..the Whole Cast even the staff at the venue were the best.

As a 48 year old father of 2 I know you're not supposed to admit this sort of thing ...but I was moved to tears so many times by this great musical. The dancing is unbelievable. The use of "Northern humour" with the miner's strike and the dreaded Maggie was agreat combination. Go and see it - you will NOT be disappointed.

The show was electric - absolutely fantastic! Dancing and singing was of the highest standard. I think that theatre staff could at least try to quieten people down who are being inconsiderate with noise etc (there was one group which was very noisy for a long time), but other than that, we had a great experience.

Overall, an enjoyable evening, but with some mixed feelings. The gratuitous use of foul language, especially by children, or directed at children, was unfortunate and, in my view, not necessary. The storyline was good enough to have managed without it.

I had never seen the film, and was very sceptical that I would enjoy a show about a Northern ballet dancer. But it blew me away. The story is gritty and sad and there is a really poignant scene that will reduce you to tears. Despite the recommendations on age restrictions, I took my 7 & 10 year old, the bad language sort of went over their head, they were mesmorised by the fantastic dancing. The acting is superb and you get a 70's history lesson to boot. Fantastic!

It was a really brilliant show to see with my family ranging from 13 to 60 years old. The dancing, singing, acting, choreography and costumes were absolutley brilliant. A very entertaining show with lots of laughs.... and some sad moments to.

The show follows the film closely but is much more intense.

Surprised at first that none of the music from the film is included in the stage show - need to be aware of this. However, the show was excellent. High energy and appealed to a mixed crowd. Excellent choreography.

I thought the show was well acted. I would recomend it to people but not for children under certain age. Brilliant show...!

Don't book Grand Circle seats if you are over 5ft 6. I spent the performance with the seat in front jammed under my knees so by the interval I couldn't feel my feet. Luckily for me (but not them) the elderly couple next to me were so uncomfortable that they didn't return for the second part which gave me a bit more room. The show was good though and the kid who plays Billy was excellent.

We thoroughly enjoyed the performance - the atmosphere was great which we didn't really expect at a matinee. The young performers were superb and the production excellent. The only drawback for us was that the music was not nearly as good as that in the film.
