Fans of the film will not be disappointed by this stage recreation from original writer Eleanor Bergstein. The story of shy teenager Frances 'Baby' Houseman coming of age with dance instructor Johnny Castle at a secluded holiday retreat launched the careers of stars Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey. As a live experience of the classic film this musical hits the jackpot. Faithfully recreated almost scene by scene, the sexy young cast whip up plenty of nostalgia in this romantic drama.

The unforgettable soundtrack, with hits such as '(I've Had) The Time of My Life' and 'Be My Baby', lifts the audience and performers. Key moments are recreated on a revolving stage, with the lake scene being inventively brought to life through the use of gauze, smoke and splashing sound effects. The performers revel in Kate Champion's sensual choreography, which comes alive at the staff party and sizzles all the way through to the iconic finale. The summer heat and magical songs will make you wish you were a teenager all over again.
