Dreamboats and Petticoats Tickets

Dreamboats and Petticoats at the Playhouse Theatre

Rock’n’roll musical featuring hits from the 1950’s and 1960’s.

Dreamboats and Petticoats is the brilliant jukebox musical inspired by one of the biggest selling albums of recent years which brought together some of the best-known hits from the 1950’s and 1960’s. Those tunes are brought to life on stage in this hilarious romantic comedy written by Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran, the men behind such lighthearted TV comedies as Goodnight Sweetheart, Birds of a Feather and Shine On Harvey Moon.

Young songwriters Bobby and Norman compete for the attention of their infatuated female fans, until they encounter the beautiful Laura. Not only is she gorgeous, she's also a talented musician. Soon, with Laura on board, love, fame and rock’n’roll stardom beckons. The story is driven by classic songs from artists such as Eddie Cochrane, Billy Fury, The Shadows, Roy Orbison and Chuck Berry.
