Ghost The Musical at the The Piccadilly Theatre, London

Starring Mark Evans and Siobhan Dillon

Based on Ghost, the Academy Award winning film, Ghost the Musical is a compelling tale of corruption, drama and the power of love. Sam and Molly are a young couple who live in New York City. After discovering discrepancies in some accounts at work, Sam decides to investigate. Walking back to their apartment at night, the couple are mugged and Sam fatally injured. Trapped as a ghost between this world and the next, Sam realises that Molly is still in danger. With the help of a phoney psychic, Oda Mae Brown, Sam tries desperately to save his fiancée.

Ghost became one of the highest grossing movies in UK history with Patrick Swayze starring as ‘Sam’, Demi Moore as ‘Molly’ and Whoopi Goldberg playing the eccentric psychic ‘Oda Mae Brown’. The iconic love scene at a potter’s wheel was performed to the Righteous Brother’s song ‘Unchained Melody’. Ghost was nominated for five Academy Awards, winning for Best Original Screenplay as well as Best Supporting Actress for Whoopi Goldberg.

Latecomers may not be admitted to a performance, and if admitted, may not be seated in the seats that have been originally allocated.

* Please be aware that the Grand Circle is high and steep and therefore unsuitable for anyone that suffers from vertigo.

The auditorium is arranged on three levels: Stalls, Royal Circle and Grand Circle. As shown in the seating plan below, the Stalls curve into a slight bottleneck, meaning all seats have an excellent central view of the stage. The final row to the rear suffers a slight overhang from the Royal Circle, but viewing restriction is minimal (row T). Viewing in the Royal Circle is also excellent, with only the final row to the rear being affected by a slight overhang from the Grand Circle (row L). The Grand Circle is high and steep and therefore unsuitable for anyone that suffers from vertigo. Although not apparent in the seating plan, the Grand Circle suffers from curvature and height restrictions towards the sides. Price differences reflect height and distance from the stage.
