Hair

Hair

Infectious, outlandish and exuberant, Hair has gained iconic status since erupting onto the musical theatre scene in 1967 and is responsible for many era defining songs, such as, Aquarius, Good Morning Starshine and Let The Sunshine In, as well as the title track.

The 1967 rock musical focuses on a group of hippie New Yorkers struggling to balance their lives, love interests and the sexual revolution with their rejection of Vietnam War and their conservative parents and society.

Claude loves his new life, in awe of Berger and in love with university student Sheila. He is faced with an unbearable decision to either resist the draft as his friends have done, or compromise his principles and step up for his country.
