Phill Jupitus as Edna
Phill Jupitus on UKTickets
The earlier you can arrive for this show, the better. The foyer of the Shaftesbury theatre is absolutely tiny and even the queue for ticket collection makes it crowded. The queue for the loos gets really long as well, with theatregoers often having to take their seats before they’ve managed to pay a visit.

Shaftesbury Theatre
As shown in the seating plan below, the theatre is tiered into three levels: Stalls, Royal Circle and Grand Circle. The four rows at the rear of the Stalls are overhung by the Royal Circle (rows U to X). Similarly, the four rows at the rear of the Royal Circle are affected by the overhang from the Grand Circle (rows K to N). The Grand Circle is high and set back somewhat from the action. A handrail at the front of the Grand Circle may affect the view of shorter patrons; otherwise views are unobstructed on this level. The Shaftesbury Theatre has four boxes, views are good, though the seating positions and sightlines are sidelined.

Absolutely awesome. There aren't enough superlatives for this show. Hadn't been to the theatre for ages, took my 8 year old son and we both left London singing and dancing. A real feel-good night out that left us buzzing for days. Loved it!
