Into the Woods

Happily Ever After?

A Cinderella who is bored with her Prince? A female beanstalk giant bent on revenge? ‘Into the Woods’ takes the tales of the Brothers Grimm and gives them a sharp and humorous twist. When the Baker and his Wife learn a witch has cursed them to be childless they embark on a quest for the items needed to break the spell.

With music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim (‘West Side Story’ and ‘Sweeny Todd’) and a fantastic book by James Lapine (‘Passion’), ‘Into the Woods’ is a dark fairytale. Everyone’s wishes may be granted, but will they really live happily ever after?
