We say...

Ranked as one of the funniest films of all time, Legally Blonde the Musical replays the story of bubbly blonde sorority girl 'Elle Woods' who enrols at Harvard Law School to win back her High School sweetheart 'Warner'. Dressed head to toe in pink, with small dog 'Bruiser' in tow, Elle is far from the typical Law student. Sheridan Smith (Two Pints of Lager, Gavin & Stacey), and Duncan James (Boy Band Blue), take the lead roles at the Savoy Theatre and advance ticket sales exceeded the £2 million mark.

The fast-paced musical is as bright and colourful as you would expect. There's plenty of charm in its 'girl power' story and this is a genuinely warm and funny production. The songs and choreography are uplifting and exuberant. Although very different from Reese Witherspoon, Sheridan Smith has evident stage presence and proves she has talents far beyond the television sitcom. The crowds have flocked for autographs after every performance, forcing staff to create an alternative stage door for health and safety. The West End has definitely found a new princess!
