The London Eye

About the London Eye

The best way to take in London's most famous sights

At 135 metres, the London Eye is Europe’s largest ferris wheel, and after eight years of business, it still ranks highly in the UK’s most popular tourist attractions, taking in 3 million visitors a year. A unique and memorable way to take in some of London’s most famous sights, on a clear day, the eye offers 25 mile panoramic views reaching all the way to Windsor Castle.

A flight in one of the 32 temperature controlled glass capsules takes around 30 minutes, making it easy for all passengers to embark and alight without the wheel having to stop as well as allowing plenty of time to admire the spectacular view of such famous landmarks as the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, St Paul's Cathedral and Trafalgar Square.
