A wonderful mix of witches, murder, conflict and ghosts, this condensed version of William Shakespeare’s ‘Macbeth’ is perfect for audiences aged six and above. Three witches foretell of a change to the monarchy. Taking swift action, Macbeth assassinates the king. As he claims the vacant throne the past comes to haunt him and seal his fate.
‘Macbeth’ is one of Shakespeare’s most popular plays with young audiences. This special production uses original language and text. Having worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company, director Steve Marmion has recently transferred Rupert Goold’s successful production of ‘Macbeth’ onto Broadway.
