About No Man’s Land
Harold Pinter’s No Man’s Land has been described as ‘everyman’s land’ as despite its hard hitting banter, the comic effects show Pinter’s humour at its best. A fast paced and witty show, the story of the sycophantic Spooner trying to ingratiate himself in the household of alcoholic writer Hirst has affecting undertones of sadness and desperation.
No Man’s Land has proved one of Pinter’s most enduring and popular plays. First staged at the Old Vic in 1975 to critical and commercial acclaim, West End and Broadway revivals in 1992 and 1994 respectively have been just as well received.
This latest revival boasts a stellar cast including Michael Gambon, David Walliams and David Bradley.
Please be aware that latecomers to No Man’s Land will not be admitted to the auditorium until the interval.
