
Ripley's Believe It Or Not!
The London branch of Ripley's Believe It Or Not! opened in August 2008, becoming the thirty fifth to open in the world. Ripley’s, founded in 1933 by collector of oddities Robert Ripley, aims to give its visitors a rare insight into the world of the bizarre, the shocking and the inexplicable.
London’s landmark The London Pavilion (Trocadero) is now home to twenty themed galleries spread over four floors, showcasing over five hundred weird and wonderful artifacts. These include:
Robert Ripley traveled the world in the early twentieth century, collected whatever he found unusual or unbelievable. He first displayed his finds at Chicago's World Fair in 1933. Today, his collection has now been seen by over twelve million people in thirty permanent museums worldwide and his exhibits are now ready to be seen and disbelieved in London.

I thought it was all a bit bizzarre believe it or not. There was a two headed calf, conjoined piglets, pieces of art made of cow dung and a weird, but wonderful hollagram of the Mr Ripley himself opening a box and spinning a globe. Very intriguing.
