A thoroughly enjoyable show for adults and children alike, would recommend to anybody thinking of booking. Colourful costumes,great music all in all agreat night out.

I can't think of enough superlatives for the staging of the whole show. Go and see it for yourselves!

I love musicals and I definitely loved Shrek! I'd been wanting to see these for ages so it was worth the wait. I had a great seat in sixth row so I could see the beautiful scenery and fabulous actors up close. Kimberly Walsh was great in her role as Fiona and definitely the star of the show. The show is great for a family day out, Shrek fans or general musical lovers. My ticket was a brilliant price too, around £42 for a sixth row seat!

Was very surprised in how good this was - we had booked seats in the "gods" but were changed when we went into the theatre to 3 rows from the stage!
Very like the film - would liked to have seen the Dragon more!

This was an amazing show especially with Amanda Holden. I specifically wanted to see it with her before she left. The Lord played a good part too. The staging was very good and impressive. A lovely show.

Really good show, fun for all ages. Thought Lord Farquart played by nigel harmon was amazing, had me lauging out loud during all his scenes. Would recommend to friends.

The kids loved it

Great show especially for families. Jokes at 2 levels (kids and adults - that kids wouldn't get). Unfortunately it wasn't Amanda Holden the night we went, but her understudy was very good. Probably better than Amanda. Guy who plays Shrek is excellent.

This is by far one of the best shows I've seen. I have to be honest I wasn't expecting much from the show as I prefer the more les mis type peefromances but it completely shocked me. The entire cast are superb and Nigel Harman is a fantastic Lord Farquad. As for Amanda and Nigel Lindsey they too are also fantastic and incredibly funny. The show I would recomend to everyone, it's funny, the musics great, and the entire thing is spectacular. A definate recomendation for EVERYONE !!!

Brilliant

Highly recommend Shrek for a family night out, the show is very funny with a panto like theme. Nigel Harma was brilliant and had me in tears of laughter, would see again!!

At first I was slightly apprehensive about seeing this show as I adore the film & wasn't sure that they would be able to adapt it into theatre, but I was completely surpised by how good the show was! I was laughing all the way through & not at one point was I disappointed. It's a funny, friendly & fantastic show that will keep your eyes glued to the strage the entire way through. Would definitely recommend to friends and any families who have seen the movies and loved them, & I will definitely be going again!! 5 out of 5!

Very fun and enjoyable night out. Nigel Harman stole the show as a very funny Lord Farquaad. Was in Upper circle row B seat 7-9, with a clear view of the majority of the stage, only having to lean forward occassionally to see action on the very front on the stage, but this seemed to have been kept to a minimum.

A thoroughly entertaining production for all the family with jokes that make both young and old get into fits of laughter.

What a great Family all-round laugh a minute show ! Great to see something for all generations to enjoy. Nigel Harman is so funny as Lord Farquaad. The kids will love it.

Shrek is what the West End has been in serious need of for a long time.
A real family musical!

The cast work really well together and the effects and sets look great. In a similar way to big shows like Wicked and We Will Rock You I would say that 'all the money is in front of you'.
Nigel Harmon as Farquod steals the show. The role is a tour de force and will have many actors falling over themselves to play it!
I saw a preview so imagine that it will just keep getting better and better.

A great show that is perfect for fans of the film but also for theatre lovers. The set is fantastic with many surprises. The costumes and songs were very fitting for the film. There are genuinely laugh out loud moments and the atmosphere in the theatre was electric. I sat in the Upper Circle C35 and the view was brilliant - get value seats!

This is a really fun family show with spectacular effects, catchy tunes with big choruses, and endless gags and jokes – something for everyone. Nigel Harman is absolutely hilarious and I eat my hat about Amanda Holden – she gives a great performance vocally and with excellent comic timing. The set design is not what it was in terms of expense on Broadway but is still impressive. And although the whole show has a panto flavour it’s in the right way – it would cheer up anyone.

Unfortunately, Richard Blackford’s performance as Donkey, at the moment, really lets the side down. Some of the sound balance needs tweaking, and everyone could up their diction. They also need to tighten up the links between numbers and scene changes there are a few moments of dead time where they drop the ball that need to be ironed out.

Good for the whole family. There are some jokes that are very adult in reference but not that would be noticed. It’s certainly not ‘too kiddy’, but I went with a 5yr old and a 6yr old and they both LOVED it! And so did I.

The upper circle is not as bad as you think. But on either circle, I wouldn’t go further back than row G as it doesn’t have a big gradient. The seate at the back of the stalls under the over hand and DREADFUL. Definitely go up rather than back. And if your going with kids, ask an usher for the special booster cusions they supply. But get there early as they’re limited in supply.

The show was hilarious ,Nigel Harman left people in stitches every time he was on stage.

I loved the Dragon, excellently manned by the men in black underneath. Nigel Harman played an amazing Lord Farqeed! Each time he entered the stage I was in stitches ;-) Amanda Holden was a great Princess, she had an excellent voice and some good comedy moments.
We had a couple of 'little ones' sitting in front of us and their faces were an absolute picture when the dragon flew down from the ceiling towards the end!!

The set is stunning, and an all-round celebrity cast, wonderful for kids and fans of the films

The whole show is absolutely amazing and very cleverly produced. Everything from the spectacular staging that Drury Lane are so famous for, to the outstanding performances by the cast, especially Nigel Harman. I was pleasantly surprised by Amanda Holden in her role as Princess Fiona, Ididn’t realise she could perform so well on stage. I would definitely go and see this again.

Whilst you can not compare to some other great classics in the West End in terms of enjoyment 10 out of 10 out of ten for me.

I never realised that Amanda was so adaptable, Nigel Harmans performance was out of this world and the whole show was a laugh a minute keeping the audience entertained.
Even if you are an adult you are transported into the world of fairytales at its best.
I would recommend this show to anyone and everyone. I hope it runs for a long long time

Fab show! Amazing set and costumes. Nigel Harman as Lord Faqaur was HILARIOUS. took my little sister and she loved it too. great all round family show. certainly one not too miss!

Shrek is one of the best shows currently running in London that is suitable for the whole family from younger children to grandparents. Fabulous show with great sets and costumes and great fun throughout!

The musical keeps all the spirit of the film, with some brilliant added extras (listen out for Lord Farquaad's family history - hilarious!).

Amanda Holden really surprised me - I didn't know she could sing, but it was Lord Farquaad's little legs that stole the show! Nigel Harman works them beautifully!

A really fun night out for fan's of the film and all families!
