Stomp reviews from critics, the press and previous bookers.
We say...
The production is based on African dance, with the props playing a significant visual and physical part in the varied routines. These routines are expertly choreographed, with a 'street entertainment' feel that the audience easily warms to. There's always a prop at hand, and Stomp uses everything from Zippo lighters to dustbin lids. The show is crammed with wild set-pieces, but there's plenty of humour besides the more 'technical' feats. Never mind the lack of story or show-tunes, this multi-award winning production has lasting appeal.
