We say...

Stomp is an incredible fusion of movement and rhythm. Performers create amazing percussion through the use of street and household items, from sweeping brooms to kitchen sinks. The show is often seen as ideal entertainment for the tourist, with no language barrier to the spectacle on stage, but there's plenty to enjoy for any theatregoer. Stomp is always entertaining, with moments of brilliance when the visuals and rhythms come together and fill the Ambassadors' stage.

The production is based on African dance, with the props playing a significant visual and physical part in the varied routines. These routines are expertly choreographed, with a 'street entertainment' feel that the audience easily warms to. There's always a prop at hand, and Stomp uses everything from Zippo lighters to dustbin lids. The show is crammed with wild set-pieces, but there's plenty of humour besides the more 'technical' feats. Never mind the lack of story or show-tunes, this multi-award winning production has lasting appeal.
