The Comedy of Errors

Welcome Return for Comedy of Errors

Two sets of identical twins have been separated at birth. Antipholus and his slave Dromio arrive in Ephesus in search of their twins. Their siblings also share the relationship of master and slave. As the pair wander through the streets of the city their lives are beset by mistaken identity.

For the first time in 14 years Shakespeare’s stirring farce ‘The Comedy of Errors’ makes a welcome return to the Open Air Theatre. Directed by Philip Franks (‘Private Lives’ and ‘The Heiress’), experience one of the bard’s earliest plays in the amazing atmosphere of Britain’s only professional outdoor theatre.
