The Woman in Black reviews from critics, the press and previous bookers.

We say...

The Woman In Black hailed as "The Best Scare In The West End" and it certainly lives up to its name. The initial first twenty minutes, although necessary to set the scene, can seem to drag out, leaving the audience wondering if this is the scariest play in the West End? The answer is yes, the play soon picks up momentum with people screaming before the interval and wondering if they can cope with the second half. The play cleverly, adapted from Susan Hill's 1983 horror novel, uses only two actors to create some of the most spine tingling scenes imaginable with a mysterious Woman In Black scene throughout.

The play tells the story of solicitor Arthur Kipps and his time spent at Eel Marsh House and the bizarre and frightening events that followed the funeral of a lonely old woman. Will Arthur survive? Will you survive?
