We Will Rock You at The Dominion Theatre, London

Futuristic comedy musical featuring the hits of Queen

Opening in May 2002, We Will Rock You is the futuristic comedy musical featuring the hits of Queen. Written by Ben Elton, the show is set in a time where music is bland, indistinguishable and devoid of all individuality. Set on the 'Planet Mall', the population is stifling under the rigid control of the Globalsoft Corporation. Musical instruments are forbidden, youth culture is dead, and rock music has become the stuff of legend. But there are a few that set out to change things back to the times of old. Each scene is told with some of the best loved songs of Queen.

We Will Rock You boasts a young and energetic cast, dazzling sets enhanced by a clever use of multimedia and of course, classic songs. The show’s universal appeal is easy to see; it is visually and musically vibrant, with a simple storyline to tie everything together. The uncomplicated, feel-good nature of the show will appeal to theatregoers young and old.

We Will Rock You will do exactly as it promises, as it has done to over five million people worldwide. The show has been staged within thirteen countries around the world, each with their own versions and similar success.

We Will Rock You at the Dominion Theatre, London

As shown in the seating plan, the auditorium of the Dominion Theatre, London is spread over two large levels: Stalls and Circle. At the rear of the Stalls a few seats are affected by the overhang of the Circle (rows YY and ZZ), however viewing restriction usually only last for a few seconds depending where the action is happening on the Dominion’s large stage. The seats to the front of the Stalls bottleneck slightly, so whether your seats are central or on the end, viewing is good (rows M to A). Views in the Circle are clear and unobstructed, though price differences reflect the distance from the stage. Overall there are excellent views throughout this popular venue.
