1 problem,,, The theatre, have never been to the Apollo victoria befor and will not go again.seat row's to near to each other,we could see well but legs/knee's under chin.Also could not get in befor 1/2hr from start, tried to find info on this befor we went (none found)so arrived 1hr befor (drink ect) was sent away. not good for elderly.

I wasn't expecting much before the show but went because a friend recommended it. It is a FANTASTIC show. It really changes the whole story of the wizard of OZ. Great story presented by great actors and fantastic singers. This show will become one of your favourates. Go and see it......... Theatre is beautiful inside too.

It was absolutely phenomenal, a very moving story with a particularly unexpected twist at the end. Listen to the music before you watch the show...It makes it even better! Try to sit as close to the front as possible as our seats were quite far back and we felt miles away!

i saw Wicked with my hubby last night for my valentines treat....i absolutley was swept away with the whole production....beautiful just beautiful...moving ....wonderful effects..humour....uplifting...cant stop playing the cd! i love my musicals ...les mis, blood bros...Phantom...and i rate this up there with them...Hubby enjoyed and he was pleasantly suprised...go see it..it stays with you..Rachel Tucker and the other lady who played Glinda...wowowow

This show was absolutely brilliant. It ticked every box for me. Singing, particularly by Elphaba, but by them all, was fantastic. Some of the staging was absolutely phenomenal as were the special effects. Script was very clever. I can't fault, and all five in my party loved this show.

I know I am going to be in the minority here...but I just did not enjoy Wicked at all. I go to musicals all the time and this is one of the only shows that personally I would not recommend. Of course I liked the songs etc , but as a show generally there are others that are far better and more entertaining - sorry !!

AMAZING!!

I love the end of the first act with ‘Defying Gravity’, such a good song! Lee Mead is also quite good to look at for three hours. I love the originality of the production and the spin off on The Wizard Of Oz.

I thought it was Good but not great. The first half was a bit slow, second half certainly picked up. The singing is fantastic - couldn't fault a thing about that! Lovely stage sets and costumes. A bit long winded though, I felt that they could have got to the point sooner. If you have kids, it's a must see. Or if you LOVE theatre you will thoroughly enjoy it. :-)

I cannot wax lyrical about this show enough when I saw it in June with my daughter for her 10th birthday. Rachel Tucker, as Elphaba, has the strongest female vocal of anyone I have seen in the West End over the past 18 or so years. And Louise Dearman (Galinda/Glinda) wasn't bad either! I urge you to see this show. It is stunning.
If only there was a cast recording with the current cast.....

It is a new story and new songs. The songs and acting are great. We went to the matinee, I think the atmosphere would be great in the evening.

the first time I took my daughter to a west end show. It was incredible! The cast was fantastic, the special effects were spectacular. Our seats were upgraded for free when we arrived which was a great surprise. Loved it. Recommend to anyone of any age.

Kept me spell bound from the start, wanted to go back and watch again.

The first time I saw this show I came out slightly disappointed. I had aweful seats and was not a massive fan of Kerry Ellis. However, I went to see the show again- this time with much better seats and the benefit of the gorgeous Lee Mead... It was FANTASTIC!! I enjoyed every aspect of the show and could really appreciate the set, costumes and fantastic ensemble! The girls playing the witches are so increadibly talented and have opted not to attempt a cheesy american accent (which no-one could hold in the first production I saw). I cannot recommend this show enough!

Outsanding, some great songs in Act 1 and fabulous story in Act 2

This was the best show I have seen since Les Miserables and it certainly gave it a run for the money! The main characters were fantastic with superb voices. The music was great and the special effects were amazing. We took two teenage girls who thoroughly enjoyed the performance and even my husband, who usually hates the theatre, stayed awake till the very end!

I took my partner for a sunday treat and have to say she was deligthed with the show we loved the cast and the story before the film was great loved it and have been telling all our friends to go see it.

The main characters had wonderful voices, amazing singing. The theater setting is rather steep and one gets the impression of sitting on the actors heads. But all in all a rather nice experience.

Everything, the show was fantastic! From the dancing and singing to the colours and costumes. The show is suited for all, the seats in the stalls and circle have amazing views even if you are in the rear of the stalls. The stage is huge and the cast use the space well to create a magnificent visual show

Great music, funny characters and huge talent make this a wonderful show for all ages (well, at least our 4 yr. old daughter was able to sit through it without too much squirming). Ladies seem to love this show, but my two sons also enjoyed the experience.

Went to Rachel Tuckers first night on mon and she was brilliant. Shes not as good as kerry ellis but way way better than Lexi. She;s got load's of time to improve though so she could be one of teh greats!!!! Louise was crap as glinda though.

Due to the big theatre and I bought the cheap tickets, I was located at U row of the circle section. It was quite far from the stage but luckily UK tickets place my friends and me quite in the mid seatings. However, most of the time I have to use the binoculars to see the facial expression. A front row will be highly recommended. However, the show was so FANTABULOUS and I was thinking on going for the 2nd time with a better seat this time ;-)!!!

I have seen all the big musicals and WICKED is without doubt the very best. The acting and the singing is stupendous.

Finally got round to seeing Wicked, was brilliant- definatly recommend to families and couples. Would see the production again!

It is an absolutely brillant. I was laughing, crying, loving it all from start to finish. If you have heard the soundtrack of the broadway show when you go to see this you will be blown away the singing is so much move powerful and awes you. I really hope they bring out a London Cast recording, Elphaba i seen was played by Alexia Khadime and Glinda by Dianne Pilkington and the rest of the cast were brillant. This is a MUST SEE Brillant

what an amazing night. This musical was fantastic with a great story line and superb music. The visual aspect were also breathtaking and is was what really topped the whole experience off for me.

I sat in row F 17, which is an aisle seat. It was ideal because there was no view obstruction to the stage.

I love everything about this show! It's my perfect show! Great sets, huge performances, fantastic singing, great story! I went to the performance hoping to see Alexia Khadime but she was not performing that day so we saw her understudy Ashleigh Gray. She was amazing!!! I was so impressed and her performances of Defying Gravity and No Good Deed gave me goose bumps! Her style was a lot like Kerry Ellis who I loved as Elphaba so I really enjoyed her performing. I would actually love to see her in the show again.

This was my second viewing and was just as good as the first. The entire show is very slick and polished, with great music and outstanding performances from all of the cast. The show is a real asset to the West End and I look forward to my third viewing!

I absolutely love this show!! It was my third time of seeing it and it still didn't disappoint. I love the story, it still fascinated me and I was still wide eyed throughout the whole production. The costumes and the set design for this production are simply amazing. Great thought and detail have gone into the design and the whole overall effect is bright, dazzling and spectacular. Ashleigh Gray was playing the role of Elphaba and she was spot on-great acting skills and powerful voice. Famous faces Harriet Thorpe from the Brittas Empire and Sam Kelly from 'On the up'. Dianne Pilkington has mastered the role of Glinda wonderfully bringing together a fantastic must-see musical!
Tips: Stall seats further back are perfect for this show or sit in the front Circle if you want to get a spectacular over view of the set.

Good show, music so-so

Once again loved Wicked! The understudy took on the role of Elphaba and she was outstanding. Her voice and character were nearly on parr with Kerry Ellis. Still love the songs, story and set.

What an amazing show- from begining to end it cleverly incorporated the story of the Wizard of Oz- shedding a complete new light on not only the Wicked Witch herself, but the tinman, lion and scarecrow. If you only get to see one westend show this year.....make it this one!

The set was beautifully constructed and all levels of the stage were cleverly used. The two female leads had amazing vocals and great sisterly chemistry. TIP: Seating in the Stalls - try to get a seat in Row Q as there is unlimited legroom in front (as area is used as a corridor, walkway) - this is especially important if you are particularly tall as there is very little leg room between the seats.

this was the forth time i had seen wicked, we sat in the stalls and i feel that it's kind of a restricted view you had to keep moving your head to see because the person in front kept moving theirs, the other three times i saw it from the circle, so if your looking to go see wicked i would personally sit in the seats for the best overall view unless you are a mad kerry ellis fan

Wicked was one of the best musicals I have seen - it had all the elements, unexpected love, friendship, comedy, great storyline and fabulous actors with amazing voices. The sets were simple but visually very effective and I was engaged all throughout - never a dull moment!

My seven year old niece loved it though it was slightly scary in parts for her. All in all a good night out.

I loved it. I was a fan of Alexia Khadime anyway, but since she's been out of the show, she's clearly been working hard and she's now better than ever. Sam Kelly was even better than I thought he'd be as the Wizard, and Natalie Anderson is the best Nessa I've seen. The newcomers have really raised the bar acting-wise, and the ones who have been in the show for longer really rose to the challenge, and it was like a whole fresh, new cast. The music is brilliant and the set and costumes are still stunning... they seem to have jazzed up the lighting a bit too. I could still go again and again and again.

This prequel to the original was enthralling. I was transported by the beautiful set costumes and the catchy music. The show captivated as the puzzle pieces came together. The talent did also not dissapoint.

Breath taking sets and absolutely amazing music. Try and get seats nearer the middle though. A lot goes on near the back of the stage and being at the side couldn't see absolutely everything.

Absolutely incredible show and a great tip - the 15GBP tickets in the stalls are amazing value. The view is brilliant and you can only occasionally not see people entering from the side you are on, and some of the sets... brilliant - and the service from UKtickets was second to none. Not knowing the storyline before I went, I was amazed to find it easy to follow, funny, amazing, good songs and a fantastic venue. Would recommend you pre order your drinks as it gets busy in the interval.

'Wicked' is an absolutely fantastic show and a brilliant night out for anyone of any age. I've now seen it six times and I would happily go over and over again (in fact I've already booked my seventh visit!). The show is clever, funny and interesting. The whole cast are one of the most talented I've seen on a West End stage and everyone just falls in love with the two leads (Kerry Ellis and Dianne Pilkington). The dancing is breathtaking. Best of all, the music is absolutely incredible. Each song is catchy - you want to sing along! 'Defying Gravity' will take your breath away, as will the simplicity of 'The Wizard and I' and the beautiful harmonies in 'For Good'. This is definitely a show not to be missed!
Bear in mind as well that even going for the lower priced tickets, you'll still get an amazing view. One of the best things about the Apollo Theatre is that wherever you sit, you're guaranteed an incredible experience.

I took my 7 year old daughter...some parts were a bit advanced for her, but she loved the music, costumes and story.

Lighting and special effects were great. A good night out, though story line was a bit slow!

Truly amazing.

This is a truly amazing show that really does link very well into The Wizard of Oz. The leading "bad witch" stole the show and deserved a standing ovation. I will definately be going to see it again.

Wicked is a fantastic musical. It is a unique take on the story of the Wicked Witch of the West with great music and a wonderful cast.

Sat in row ZC centre. Very good view of stage completely blocked by tall person in row infront!! Something to be considered when taking children. Both leads excellent, good storyline and effects stunning. Accustics and overall volume comfortable with no distortion.
Had a really good time, would reccomend to anyone feeling down in the dumps.

Wonderful show any seat in this theatre has a good view even the back of the stalls.We booked last minute and didn't regret it. Picked up the tickets quickly at the box office.Easy to get to on the underground and had a throughly great time.

It was THE best show i've seen in ages! It's a must see, even if your not a musical fan, it's well worth the money and time! Merchandise is quite pricey however!

The show was great. The cast performed as if it were still in the first week. High energy, enthusiasm and lively.

Everything absolutely perfect. The tickets were waiting for us when we got there. Fantastic seats with an amazing view. What incredible value. Someone sitting near us had paid double what we had. The show was out of this world. A fabulous evening. Thank you.

My boyfriend and I had a really great time and both really enjoyed the show. The costumes were great and there was a lot of humour in the show.

The show was good. The two main leads were absolutely amazing and very talented.

Our seats were a good view considering the price! They where only a few rows from the front in the stalls but right on the end so at times you cannot see some parts of the stage; but again; this is what you would expect for £15!!! It was very cold in the stalls and drafty so we wore our coats all the way through it which was a shame. Very impressed with the ease of booking and collecting of tickets.

Don't book 2nd best available seats ! right at back of stalls and not worth £50 per ticket. Booked through other website last year got £20 tickets and were far better than the tickets I got on this website !

It was amazing, a beautiful magical story with fanastic set and costumes. Great performance from the whole ensemble, especially both leading roles were excellent. Definetely my favourite musical. I had a fantastic seat as well, row Q in stalls is the best. Wicked!

Wicked never fails to blow me away and the performances were incredible. Last time I went, Kerry Ellis was unwell but it's great to see her back on form, really giving it some, even for a subdued Tuesday night audience. Dianne Pilkington is just hilarious as Glinda and Harriet Thorpe is fantastically evil as Madame Morrible. Wicked has it all... the sets, the lighting, the design, the performances, the music and the choreography are all fantastic. Wicked really is the whole package.

Don’t be put off by the seating plan; Row P in the stalls is very close!! For this show I would say try and get Stall seats.

The whole set was amazing with everything changing and moving effortlessly to give an awesome overall impression for people watching the show.

The sets were fantastic and the story related cleverly to the original Oz story. Great show.

Absolutely stunning show - thoroughly recommend it!

I loved the setting of the theatre, all emerald green. Really set the scene. The stage was amazing and especially giving the actors ability to use different levels (i.e. using the bridge etc)
We sat in the stalls (I think the best seating area!)
Loved the story, the main character (wicked witch) has an amazingly powerful voice I could listen to her voice all night!

The only complaint is the price of the programmes, £7 maybe the going rate but I think its very expensive on top of drinks/chocolates/ice creams etc

I wasn't sure what to expect when booking to see Wicked, other than it is based around the story of The Wizard Of Oz. (Even if you haven't seen that you can still follow the theatre production). I loved the show, the set and costumes were brilliant and the main character, Elpheba what a great voice she had! I would go again tomorrow...

The show itself was fantastic, our seats were quite far back (row S) and we did think that we might not see too much but the Apollo Victoria was steep enough for us to not miss anything! There were little binoculars to hire - you need a 50p piece - which were fab to have!

Great scenery, singing and dancing. Overall a fab show. Would recommend it.

this show was fabulous i took my mum and she had not heard of this show but she loved it!!!! and would go back again!!! we were unsure what the story would be like as it was unknown but was incredible well done and linked with the wizard of oz beautifully.

I judge all shows on the basis of whether I would go to see it again. I wouldn't go to see Wicked again. Story line a bit confusing.

Thoroughly enjoyed the show. It is a prelude to the Wizard of Oz. There was powerful singing from all the main characters and the ensemble vocals were very harmonious. I couldn't fault the singing. It was a good story acted professionally. Great choreography. There were also some good comic moments. I would highly recommend the show to anyone.

I took my wife and mum and they both thoroughly enjoyed it, although I wasn’t expecting to like it I have to admit that it surprised me and I did enjoy it.

This was the second time I've been to see Wicked, and it was just as good as the first time. The set is amazing and the songs bring you out in goosebumps!
The best thing about this show is that no matter where you're sitting, you still get a great view of the stage.

An absolutely amazing show! The two female leads were outstanding, as was the set design. It might be worth paying a little bit more to be closer to the front - I was in Row X of the Dress Circle and that was a bit far away from the action for my liking. You'll enjoy this show more if you've seen The Wizard of Oz first.

There were a few technical difficulties at the begginning, and the curtain had to go down but these were delt with quickly and the show went on! I really liked it, you see a different side to the wizard of oz!

You should gen-up on the story of the wizard of Oz, to understand the second half.

This was a spectacular show, not only the singing was fantastic- the lighting ans sets where brilliant. I was in a party of 9 and everyone enjoyed it!

I went to see WICKED on sat 10th january. I thought it was absolutely brilliant. The show reatured Kerry Ellis as Elphaba and her voice is outstanding. It is a must see show for anyone, and i cant wait to see it again!

Whilst the story passed me by to a great extent it didnt matter as the set, the music and the singing was amazing. I can see that the claim that it is London's top show could eb justified.

One salutory word of caution is to wrap up warm. Although it was minus 5 degrees outside it was barely warmer inside the theatre and so the shivering was not only through anticipation of a great event.

Wicked is a vibrant and funny show with great singing and dancing - lots of energy and a complex and interesting storyline.

I have never been a fan of the Wizard of Oz, but I thought Wicked was fantastic! I highly recommend it. Gorgeous costumes!

I attended as a dutiful husband but to my surprise thought 'Wicked' was fabulous. Funny,irreverent,subversive and feminist too,brilliantly performed particularly by the leads. Wouls srongly recommend it.

We loved this show(it was the second time for some of us!)and will likely see it again.
There was a technical error part way through the first half though and that was a little annoying but apart from that it was fabulous.

Vocals of the wicked witch were absolutely fabulous especially in the defying gravity scene.

I would say we had great seats - row N in stalls. We were far enough back to be just above eye level of the stage. I find theatre monkey very handy for advice on which seats to book. I think this particular show has a huge variation in the quality of the top price tickets.
This is a real spectacle and a great story. There is both comedy and drama with some serious underlying moral messages. I could watch it again and again. I think it would be suitable for children above 7.

"This is an excellent show. The story fits in very cleverly with the old movie ""The Wizard of Oz"". The scenery and costumes are very colourful. The cast are amazing. How they perform so well night after night is beyond me."

Wicked was most enjoyable although it seems common practice in all the Theatres to overcharge for bottles of water.

An original and innovative production - theatre at its best! The two leading ladies excelled and the cast received a standing ovation.

From the opening number to the curtain call the story had us hooked. The songs and performances from the cast were excellent and being huge fans of the Wizard of OZ the one liner references made the show extremely funny. For those unfortunates that have never seen Wizard of OZ this story stands on its own and is a show my children and I could watch again and again. I thouroughly recommend the show to everyone raised on Dorothy and her exploits in the land of OZ and to everyone who has missed out on the pleasure.

"Wicked was absolutely amazing in every way - clothes, music & a very humourous script. Although the tickets did not arrive before we left for London I was able to pick up duplicates at the box office on the night. The seats were excellent. We all would go back to see it again!"

If you can only go to 1 show you must see wicked. The cast are amazing what voices they have and the production was outstanding. It caters for all ages explaining the story of how the witches grew up before the wizard of oz and how elphaba became the bad witch through trying to do the right thing. A must for all.
