Sheridan Smith in Blonde: Tickets on sale now

| Tickets are now on sale for Legally Blonde at the Savoy Theatre. The show recently announced its principal casting and, as previously hinted by UK Tickets, the lead role of Elle Woods will be played by Sheridan Smith. | |
 | Sheridan was last seen on the West End stage in Little Shop of Horrors, which played at the Duke of York’s and the Ambassadors after a successful opening at the Menier Chocolate Factory. Her role as Audrey earned her an Olivier Award nomination. Perhaps best known for such TV shows as Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, The Royle Family, Grown Ups and Love Soup, her stage credits have also included Bugsy Malone, The People Are Friendly, The Taming of the Shrew and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. |
| Sheridan will be starring alongside Duncan James as Warner. Duncan, best known for being the boy band Blue, made his West End debut as Billy Flynn in Chicago in 2007 and has appeared in small acting roles in television shows the Bill and Plus One. Canadian Alex Gaumond will appear as Emmett. Alex’s extensive stage roles have included Guys and Dolls, Desperately Seeking Susan, Sunday in the Park with George, Jesus Christ Superstar and Miss Saigon and We Will Rock You, in which he is currently touring the UK as Galileo. | |
