Show of the Month: Jersey Boys

Posted by Jack on Monday 1st June 2009 at 2:58PM

UK Tickets are proud to announce that our June Show of the Month is the fantastic Jersey Boys, the award winning Broadway import that tells the real life story of pop legends Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.

Jersey Boys celebrated a year in the West End in March this year, and have secured a promising future by winning some of London’s most prestigious theatre awards. In a record breaking year for the What’s On Stage Awards, Jersey Boys scooped four trophies including Best Musical and Best Actor in a Musical for Ryan Molloy, who continues to wow the crowds as Frankie Valli. Due to popular demand, Molloy has recorded an album of hits featured in the show, as voted for by Jersey Boys fans.

March proved to be a big month for Jersey Boys as they saw in their first birthday with the most coveted award of all; Best New Musical at the world renowned Olivier awards. With its slick multimedia design, ingenious direction and the timeless hits of the Four Seasons, Jersey Boys fever has stretched far across America. London is only the beginning of its international sprawl, as a number of productions are being developed across Europe and the Melbourne show, due to open next month, has already sold out a huge section of its first booking period.

Jersey Boys, which currently stars Ryan Molloy, Glenn Carter, Stephen Ashfield and Philip Bulcock as the Four Seasons, is currently booking at the Prince Edward Theatre until March 2010.

UK Tickets are happy to celebrate the show’s phenomenal success with some fantastic rates. In June, UK Tickets can offer top price seats for only £38 each and seats in the Grand Circle for only £29.50. Book now!
