Linzi Hateley Rejoins Mamma Mia!

Linzi Hateley returns to the role of ‘Donna Sheridan’ in the smash hit musical ‘Mamma Mia!’ at the Prince of Wales Theatre. Newcomer Jessie May will take up her first major West End role, as daughter ‘Sophie Sheridan’. Both join the London cast from Monday 14 December 2009.
 

Six Month Break

Linzi took a six month break from the role of ‘Donna’ earlier this year - a part she played to great acclaim for over two years. Linzi has significant West End experience in shows such as ‘Chicago’, ‘Grease’, ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’ and ‘Les Miserables’.

ABBA Smash Hit

Based on the hit songs of ABBA, ‘Mamma Mia!’ tells the story of young bride-to-be Sophie Sheridan who preparing to marry to her fiancé on a Greek island. She wants her father to walk her down the aisle but doesn’t know who he is. After discovering her mother’s diary she invites three old flames from the past to attend her wedding.
 

The Mamma Mia! Cast

The show continues to star Katy Secombe as ‘Rosie’, Jane Gurnett as ‘Tanya’, Norman Bowman as ‘Sam Carmichael’, Christopher Hollis as ‘Bill Austin’ and Paul Ryan as ‘Harry Bright’. At certain performances over Christmas the role of ‘Donna Sheridan’ will be played by Melissa Jacques.

Booking for 'Mamma Mia!' has been extended through 2010.
