| Wicked continues to defy the economic doom and gloom, announcing that 2009 was its highest grossing year at the Apollo Victoria Theatre. The musical grossed over £27 million at the box office in 2009 and has now taken over £90 million since opening in London in September 2006. It was also another year of honours as the hit show won the London Award for 'Best Family Fun' and was short-listed for 'Best West End Show' by theatregoers themselves. |
