Joseph Star Lee Mead Joins Cast of Wicked

| Former ‘Any Dream Will Do’ winner and ‘Joseph’ star Lee Mead will join the cast of Wicked from 10 May 2010. Mead will play ‘Fiyero’, the carefree prince, in the hit musical based on the novel by Gregory Maguire. He joins Rachel Tucker and Louise Dearman, who have already been confirmed in the lead roles of ‘Elphaba’ and ‘Glinda’ from 29 March 2010. |

Any Dream Will DoAfter winning the BBC talent series ‘Any Dream Will Do’ Lee Mead was awarded the title role in the 2007 revival of ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’ at the Adelphi Theatre. His Wicked debut is delayed due to touring commitments. He is currently playing the title role in Oscar Wilde’s ‘Lord Arthur Savile’s Crime’. From 29 March to 8 May the role of ‘Fiyero’ will be played by fellow ‘Any Dream Will Do’ finalist Lewis Bradley. |
