A meeting of two Elle’s took place last week as Laura Bell Bundy and Sheridan Smith got together for a Q & A session hosted by Heart FM presenter Nick Snaith.

Bell Bundy is the Tony-nominated star who played Elle Woods in the original Broadway production, whilst Smith has been winning rave reviews in the role since Legally Blonde the Musical opened in the UK, at the Savoy Theatre, in December 2009. 

When Elle Met Elle

The two stars, who had never met before, talked about their favourite songs, costumes and the demands of performing eight incredible shows a week. Check out highlights of the Q & A session from the YouTube video below.

There was no mention of the gossip linking Bell Bundy with the West End role, as Smith is due to leave the show towards the end of October. The rumours faded earlier this month when the American actress landed a recurring role in the American TV sitcom 'How I Met Your Mother'.
