Love Never Dies - Cast Announcement

The producer’s of Love Never Dies, the sequel to worldwide smash hit The Phantom of the Opera, have announced the full cast for the show. As previously revealed Ramin Karimloo will reprise the role of ‘The Phantom’, Sierra Boggess will play ‘Christine Daaé’ and Summer Strallen will appear as ‘Meg Giry’.

Ramin 'The Phantom' Returns

Ramin Karimloo was born in Iran but grew up in Toronto Canada. After singing in a number of local bands he began his musical theatre career with Airtours and P&O Cruises, before coming to the UK and working his way into some significant West End roles. Ramin has played both ‘Raoul’ and ‘The Phantom’ in The Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty’s Theatre. He has also played ‘Enjolras’ in Les Misérables and ‘Christopher Scott’ in the UK Tour of ‘Miss Saigon’.

 

American actress Sierra Boggess was handpicked by Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber in 2005 for the role of ‘Christine Daaé’ in the Las Vegas production of The Phantom of the Opera. She has appeared on Broadway as ‘Ariel’ in Disney’s ‘The Little Mermaid’, receiving several award nominations for the role.

 

Summer Strallen made her West End debut in 2008 as ‘Maria’ in Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Sound of Music. She comes from a family of performers, including famous Aunt Bonnie Langford.  

Liz Robertson recently appeared as ‘Velma Von Tussle’ in Hairspray at the Shaftesbury Theatre.

Irish actress Niamh Perry is a former ‘I’d Do Anything’ finalist – the reality TV search to find a new ‘Nancy’ in Oliver! She recently played ‘Sophie’ in Mamma Mia! at the Prince of Wales theatre.

 

Joseph Millson’s stage credits include ‘King John’ and ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ for the Royal Shakespeare Company.  

Adam Pearce recently played the characters of Brother Issachar and Baker in ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’.

Jami Reid-Quarrell recently took the title role in ‘Monkey’ at the West Yorkshire Playhouse. He also appeared as ‘Puck’ in ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.
 

Love Never Dies - The Story Continues…

Love Never Dies continues the story of the enigmatic ‘Phantom’ ten years after his flight from the Paris Opera House. Set amongst the fairgrounds of Brooklyn’s Coney Island, Swedish Soprano Christine Daaé has been invited across the ocean to perform. Love Never Dies is a ‘rollercoaster ride of obsession and intrigue’.

The Phantom of the Opera is the single most successful entertainment show in history. Over 100 million people have seen the production around the world. The London production celebrated its 23rd birthday in October 2009. Global album sales stand at a staggering 40 million copies.

Love Never Dies opens at the Adelphi Theatre in February 2010.
