Acts Announced for 2010 Royal Variety Show

The line up for the 2010 Royal Variety Performance at the London Palladium has been confirmed, with West End newcomer Danielle Hope joining Take That, Cheryl Cole and tenor Russell Watson on the star studded musical bill. The winner of BBC talent search Over the Rainbow, Danielle will make her debut as ‘Dorothy’ in The Wizard of Oz at the same venue in March next year.

Les Miserables Will Provide Classic Theatre

The cast of Les Miserables are also among the variety acts. The show recently celebrated its 25th London anniversary with three simultaneous productions being staged in the Capital - at the Queen’s Theatre, The Barbican Centre and O2 Arena!

Top Comedy and Talent-Show Routines

TV talent show winners and an all-star list of comedians, including John Bishop and Jack Whitehall, will also perform routines at the charity show. Britain’s Got Talent winners Spellbound - double gold medallists at this year’s Acrobatic Gymnastics Championships - will appear, as will top-class ice skater and Dancing on Ice winner Daniel Whiston.

The Royal Variety Performance is an annual event held in aid of the Entertainment Artistes’ Benevolent Fund. The London Palladium show will be show on BBC One in December.
