Betwixt! Extends with Be-Tweet Performance

Musical comedy Betwixt! has given away several tickets to tonight’s performance at Trafalgar Studios in a free competition which was entered by the show’s Twitter followers. The special Be-Tweet performance is the first in the show’s extended run, and sees Lizzie Roper replace ‘Little Shop of Horrors’ star Ellen Greene in the triple roles of ‘The Enchantress’, ‘Princess’ and the ‘Nymph Queen’. Betwixt! fans were asked to sum up their love for the show in a picture, video, audio file or blog - with the winners being drawn at random by the cast and creative team last Friday. |
Amazing Fans Go Back for MoreBetwixt! producer Christopher D. Clegg said: "The love for this show on Twitter has been amazing. Every day we get tweets from people who are crazy for the show. They spread the word, compliment the writing, rave about the cast, even the piano player's socks have been singled out for comment! Many of our fans have been back two, three or even four times - which in what was only to be a four-week run is amazing. So we thought we would give something back to them with this free show." Betwixt! tells the surreal story of a struggling fantasy novelist named Bailey Howard who finds himself transported into a parallel world with his flatmate Cooper Fitzgerald, leading to all manner of high jinks and adventure. UK Tickets have two pairs of preview tickets to give away for Rock of Ages at the Shaftesbury Theatre on Thursday 15th September 2011 at 7.30pm.
