Cast Changes: Grease and Clybourne Park

Some West End Cast changes have been announced this week, with Grease the Musical confirming its new line-up from 24 January 2011 and Clybourne Park revealing that Jason Watkins has withdrawn from the production due to a family tragedy. He will be replaced in the show, which is due to open at the Wyndham's Theatre at the end of this month, by 'History Boy' Stephen Campbell Moore. |

Stephen Campbell Moore was recently nominated in the 2011 Whatsonstage Awards for 'Best Supporting Actor' for his performance last summer in All My Sons at the Apollo Theatre. He is best known for his role as 'Irwin' in Alan Bennett's 'The History Boys' - a part he play on both stage and screen. Clybourne Park has also received recognition in the 2011 Whatsonstage Awards, being nominated as 'Best New Comedy' after it's successful run at the Royal Court Theatre. |
Grease the Musical - Carina Gillespie Joins the Class |

Carina Gillespie will make her West End debut in Grease at the Piccadilly Theatre. She joins the show in the leading role of 'Sandy' opposite Matthew Goodgame who will continue as 'Danny' until 30 April 2011. After training at the Liverpool Theatre School, Carina Gillespie made her stage debut in the musical 'Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story'. Away from the stage Carina is an accomplished singer, and appeared as a support act for 'Basshunter' on a 2010 UK tour. |
