Dillon and Evans to Lead Ghost the Musical
| Ghost the Musical will get two new leading cast members in the New Year when Siobhan Dillon and Mark Evans take over from Caissie Levy and Richard Fleeshman as ‘Molly’ and ‘Sam’. They will join Sharon D Clarke (Oda Mae Brown) and Andrew Langtree (Carl), who continue to play the roles they originated when the production opened. Levy and Fleeshman will join the cast of the Broadway transfer. The changeover will happen on Friday 13th January 2012. | |

Siobhan Dillon as Molly Jensen Siobhan Dillion became well-known as a finalist on Andrew Lloyd Webber’s TV talent show - How Do You Solve a Problem like Maria? She made her West End debut in Grease at the Piccadilly Theatre and went on to star in Legally Blonde the Musical at the Savoy. She is currently appearing in Ex the Musical at the Soho Theatre. |

Mark Evans as Sam Wheat Mark Evans’ stage credits include ‘Curly’ in the national tour of Oklahoma!, ‘Brad Majors’ in The Rocky Horror Show, ‘Troy Bolton’ in High School Musical - Live On Stage at the Hammersmith Apollo and Monty Python's Spamalot at the Palace Theatre. He is currently playing ‘Fiyero’ in the hit musical Wicked at the Apollo Victoria. |
Adapted from the Oscar-Winning FilmGhost the Musical is adapted from the Oscar-winning 1990 film starring Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore as a young New York couple named Molly and Sam who are mugged walking home one night. Sam is tragically killed in the robbery but finds himself in limbo, still able to see the world around him. He realises that Molly is still in danger from his attacker and tries to find a way to communicate with her. His one hope is a phoney psychic named Oda Mae Brown who becomes the only person who can hear him. Ghost the Musical has music and lyrics by Eurythmics’ Dave Stewart and Grammy Award-winning producer Glen Ballard. |
