Dirty Dancing Announces London Closure

Dirty Dancing has posted closing notices at the Aldwych Theatre. The popular show, which opened more than four years ago in October 2006 and became the longest running show in the history of the venue, has revealed performances will cease after 09 July 2011 before embarking on a National Tour. |

An Instant West End Success!From the very beginning, Dirty Dancing on stage has been a runaway success - bringing in the highest pre-sales in London theatre history, with Friday and Saturday performances selling out up to six months in advance! The Dirty Dancing tour will start at the Bristol Hippodrome in September 2011, before moving onto Glasgow's Kings Theatre, Manchester's Palace Theatre, Dublin's Grand Canal Theatre, Aberdeen's His Majesty's Theatre, Southampton's Mayflower Theatre and Milton Keynes Theatre. Casting details for the tour have not yet been announced. |
