On Saturday 13 November Kerry Ellis will take time out from Oliver! at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane to perform at the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall. For the two shows scheduled that day, Jodie Prenger will return to the role of 'Nancy'. She famously played the part when the musical opened in January 2009, winning the Whatsonstage Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical.

A Busy Year for the Lady of the Lake!

Since leaving the cast of Oliver! in March 2010, Jodie Prenger spent the summer playing the 'Lady of the Lake' in a UK tour of Spamalot, as well as presenting various TV and Radio shows - including The National Lottery and standing in for Paul O'Grady on BBC Radio 2.

She is currently touring the UK with John Barrowman and is due to star in a new BBC1 comedy series, 'Candy Cabs'. If that wasn't enough, a new album is also scheduled for release in early 2011!

Dickens' Classic Tale - Booking Till January 2011

Charles Dickens classic story of Oliver Twist was transformed into a wonderful musical by Lionel Bart in the 1960s. This revived production at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane has seen many famous names pick a pocket or two, including Rowan Atkinson, Omid Djalili and, currently, Russ Abbot starring as 'Fagin'.

Famous songs from the show include Oom Pah Pah, You’ve Got to Pick a Pocket or Two, As Long As He Needs Me, It’s a Fine Life, Food Glorious Good and Reviewing The Situation.

Oliver the Musical is now booking until 08 January 2011 and will be replaced by Shrek the Musical, starring Amanda Holden and Richard Blackwood.
