Les Miserables Celebrates 10,000 Performances!
| Record-breaking musical Les Misérables has celebrated 10,000 West End performances. The milestone was reached on Tuesday 5 January 2010 at the Queens Theatre, its home since 2004. The production originally opened in 1985 at the Barbican Theatre before transferring to the Palace Theatre, currently home to Priscilla Queen of the Desert. Now in its 25th year, Les Misérables is the world’s longest running musical and still one of the top-selling shows on our website. |

As Valjean reappears in search of a young girl, the barricades are built and battle for the streets begins. |
