Lucas Leaves Play

Star Matt Lucas has sadly had to leave the play Prick Up Your Ears and will not appear in any future performances. Con O’Neill is to replace Lucas in the role of Kenneth Halliwell from the 22nd October, understudy Michael Chadwick will play the role until then. O’Neill has won numerous awards including the prestigious Olivier award. O’Neill will be joined by Chris New and Gwen Taylor. Prick up your ears looks at the private lives of playwright Joe Orton and his lover Kenneth Halliwell, and the events that led Halliwell to murder Orton in 1967.
