Noel Sullivan to Join Cast of We Will Rock You

	Noel Sullivan will join the cast of We Will Rock You at the Dominion Theatre next month, replacing Alex Gaumond in the leading role of ‘Galileo’. Sullivan has been playing the same part on the We Will Rock You UK Tour, winning praise for his high standard of performance. Although he rose to fame as a member of Hear’Say after winning the TV talent search Pop Stars in 2001, Sullivan is fast becoming a West End regular having recently performed leading roles in Grease (the longest running show in the Piccadilly Theatre’s history) and Flashdance (short-lived at the Shaftesbury Theatre). His other stage credits include Fame, Love Shack and Simply Ballroom.
Alex Gaumond Leaves the Show Next Month
	Alex Gaumond joined We Will Rock You in August 2011 after being nominated as Best Actor in a Musical at the Olivier Awards for his performances as ‘Emmett’ in Legally Blonde the Musical at the Savoy Theatre. He will play his final show on Saturday 18th February 2012, with Noel Sullivan making his first appearance as ‘Galileo’ on Monday 20th February 2012. Sullivan will stay with the production until October 2012. The We Will Rock You cast continues to include Over the Rainbow finalist Lauren Samuels as ‘Scaramouche’, X Factor star Brenda Edwards as ‘Killer Queen’ and Coronation Street legend Kevin Kennedy as ‘Pop’.
