The West End is abuzz with new shows opening over the next few months; from musical revivals, new musicals and a Hollywood legend, here we look at what is coming.

| Hair, the 1967 rock musical, transfers from Broadway after a successful run. The show centres on a group of hippies who promote love, peace and freedom against the backdrop of the Vietnam War. The hippies struggle to balance their lives, their love interests and the sexual revolution. The score features the famous songs Aquarius, Good Morning Starshine and Let The Sunshine In, as well as the title track. BOOK NOW |
 | Singer/songwriter David Essex has put his talents into writing a new musical for the West End, collaborating with Boogie Nights creator Jon Conway. The musical tells the story of Levi Lee, a fun fair owner who is recently widowed and father of a typical teenage son. According to the gypsy fortune teller he is in store for mystical and dangerous times. The musical includes many of Essex’s well known songs, including a Winter’s Tale, Gonna Make You A Star, Rock On and the title track. BOOK NOW |
| Dance hall hostess ‘Charity Hope Valentine’ (Tamzin Outhwaite) is always looking for the perfect romance. But will Charity ever learn from her mistakes and finally find the man of her dreams? Popular songs include ‘If My Friends Could See Me Now’, ‘Hey Big Spender’ and ‘Rhythm of Life’. | Film legend Debbie Reynolds comes to the West End for a limited 10 date engagement in April. The MGM star is famed for being in films ‘Singing in the Rain’, ‘The Unsinkable Molly Brown’ and ‘That’s Entertainment.’ Reynolds, who boasts Oscar and Golden Globe nominations, is celebrating more than 50 years in show business. | Flashdance has been transformed from screen to stage for the first time and is the unmistakably unique musical about holding onto your dreams and love against all odds. Set in Pittsburgh, USA, Flashdance tells the story of 18 year old Alex, a welder by day and ‘flashdancer’ by night, whose dream is to obtain a place at the prestigious Shipley Dance Academy. The show features the memorable songs from the film including the smash hit "Maniac", along with “Manhunt”, "Gloria", “I Love Rock & Roll” and the Academy Award winning title track "Flashdance - What a Feeling".
