Executive Producer Hails Extraordinary Year!Executive producer Michael McCabe hailed another incredible 12 months for Wicked: “2010 proved to be an extraordinary year. As well as enjoying our highest grossing year to date, we also won several prestigious awards, raised funds for The Woodland Trust and the St John Ambulance ‘Teach the Difference’ project and we were enormously proud to launch the Wicked Young Writers’ Award”. Based on the novel 'Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West', this spellbinding musical acts as the prequel to 'The Wonderful Wizard of Oz', revealing the untold story of sorcery student Elphaba - who grows up to become the misunderstood Wicked Witch - and her fight against the charlatan Wizard's corrupt rule over the magical land. |
