Ghostly Apparition Haunts Dinner Party The Lawrence Olivier Award-winning actress will play ghostly apparition ‘Elvira’ in the show about a clairvoyant who is hired by a novelist and his wife to entertain guests at a dinner party. When the novelist’s first wife unexpectedly appears, life and the afterlife quickly get complicated. Ruthie Henshall’s stage credits include Les Miserables, Miss Saigon, Oliver!, Chicago (as the original Roxie), The Woman in White and Marguerite. She won the 1995 Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical for her performance as Amalia in ‘She Loves Me’ at the Savoy Theatre. |

Henshall Joins Cold Feet Stars As previously announced on UKTickets, Cold Feet stars Robert Bathurst and Hermione Norris will play husband and wife Charles and Ruth Candomine, whilst Alison Steadman takes the role of the eccentric clairvoyant, Madame Arcati. Blithe Spirit transfers to the West End on 2 March 2011, playing at the Apollo Theatre until 18 June 2011. |
