The full cast has been announced for Joe Sutton’s new political satire Complicit at the Old Vic. Hollywood actor Richard Dreyfuss will, as previously announced, be taking on the role of Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Ben Kritzer. Joining him in the three hander are Davis Suchet and Elizabeth McGovern.

Suchet, best known as Agatha Christie’s Belgian sleuth Hercule Poirot, was last seen on the West End stage in Vatican drama The Last Confession at the Theatre Royal Haymarket which transferred from Chichester Festival Theatre last year.

Illinois born McGovern has numerous television and film credits to her name including the 1984 movie Racing with the Moon, during the filming of which she became engaged to Hollywood actor Sean Penn. Her London theatre credits include Hurlyburly at the Old Vic and Three Days of Rain at the Donmar Warehouse.

Complicit forms part of an impressive 2009 season at the Old Vic and tickets are available here.
