Sunset to shine in the West End
As previously tipped, the Watermill Theatre’s acclaimed production of Sunset Boulevard has now confirmed its West End transfer. The Watermill, an intimate 220 seat venue situated in a converted mill building in Newbury, West Berkshire, is renowned for its artistic and unconventional productions, and twice a year showcases new writing.
A resized take on the Andrew Lloyd Webber classic, Sunset Boulevard has been the Watermill’s most applauded actor-musician presentation, the venue having had previous actor-musician successes with Mack and Mabel and Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Gondoliers.
Starring Kathryn Evans and directed by Strictly Come Dancing’s Craig Revel-Horwood, Sunset Boulevard opens at the Comedy Theatre on 15 December 2008 with performances beginning on 4 December andyou can buy your tickets here.
