Posted by Jack on Monday 17th November 2008 at 9:22AM

As previously tipped, the Watermill Theatre’s acclaimed production of Sunset Boulevard has now confirmed its West End transfer. The Watermill, an intimate 220 seat venue situated in a converted mill building in Newbury, West Berkshire, is renowned for its artistic and unconventional productions, and twice a year showcases new writing.

A resized take on the Andrew Lloyd Webber classic, Sunset Boulevard has been the Watermill’s most applauded actor-musician presentation, the venue having had previous actor-musician successes with Mack and Mabel and Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Gondoliers.

Starring Kathryn Evans and directed by Strictly Come Dancing’s Craig Revel-Horwood, Sunset Boulevard opens at the Comedy Theatre on 15 December 2008 with performances beginning on 4 December andyou can buy your tickets here.
